A Man's Field Guide to Women: The Distraction

The Distraction:

-         General Characteristics – She holding out for Mr. Right.  A doctor, investment banker or perhaps a pro athlete, but she doesn’t tell you any of that.  You notice her attitude very quickly, but she is attractive, so you’re doomed to chase her. Her goals are similar to the Pseudo goddess, but her approach is far different. Pseudo goddess will not waste her time going out with guys who don’t meet her criteria, but The Distraction will.  She will allow you to take her out time after time, and yet she treats you like you have cooties. She’s a distraction.

-         Found in – Sitting at the bar allowing Fish Bait to buy her drinks, while she waits for A Good Man (aka, Mr. Right).

-         Relations after Marriage – No way, Jose.  The best you can hope for is that she might have mercy on you and introduce you to one of her friends with less lofty goals.

-         Fidelity – The guy who marries her will find out the definition of selfish.

-         Finances – She’s always busted. And it’s not that she couldn’t do better, but she works only hard enough to keep her gig, while she waits on you know who.

-         Chances – Zilch.

-         Future prospects – Karma is a, well you know.  She’ll either end up chasing the Killer Whale (see A Woman’s Field Guide to Men), being the 2:00 am hook up for the Free Agent or both. Best case scenario she finds Sugar Daddy (she won’t stay with him forever, but in the short run they both get what they want).
