A Man's Field Guide to Women: The Writer

The Writer:

-         General Characteristics – Just to the right of the Poet, on the Artist, Poet, Writer continuum. She’s a loving and gentle spirit, who seeks to maintain peace in her home. She’s very much like the Poet in her need to express herself and reflect upon the world, but she’s much more selective about what to release. And that’s the main difference between the two. Writers are more selective about what they share, whereas Poets ask why hold anything back? You have pay more attention to the writer than the poet, because she will keep it all inside.

-         Found in – Book Stores, libraries, Spoken word events and parks. 

-         Relations after Marriage – Good. Writers are not combustible as a rule.

-         Fidelity – Average.

-         Finances – Typically smart and know how to apply themselves. But their lack of aggressiveness can hamstring them in corporate America sometimes.

-         Chances – If you’re really a nice guy, go for it.

-         Future prospects – Much like the poet at heart, but tied more tightly to the realities of this world. May possibly evolve into an Earth Mother, but if not, it’s cool.
