A Woman's Field Guide to Men: A Good Man

A Good Man:

-         General Characteristics – A mythical creature, long thought extinct, if he ever existed at all. Looks like a prince, with a great job and reasonable hours (i.e. no evening or weekend work) which pays him very well. Must be well educated, but still have a little thug in him. Must have flavor, but so much that he embarrasses you around your co-workers. Must be sexy, but not so much that he’s hitting on all of your friends.  Okay, so I’m just kidding… for the most part anyway. But a “Good Man” is largely a matter of “your” perception.

-         Found in – Fairytale books, Disneyland and mostly in the dreams of young women everywhere. 

-         Relations after Marriage – If he is a Good Man, a real good man, then great. But if he’s an arbitrary concoction from your own mind, then he’s as lasting as a dream come morning sun.

-         Fidelity – Very Good, but nothing in this life is 100%.

-         Finances – Good.

-         Chances – That depends on you, and what you’re looking for. Some say that they’re all around, if you know what to look for.

-         Future prospects – Under the current circumstance, in larger markets, brother man has no problem finding a woman, but check out this article when you get a chance for a little perspective on why  ( Man Shortage?). In smaller markets, he’s wondering where the good women are.
